Celebrating textures and colours, delving into vibrant purples and reds. I have been creating this over the last few days, it has been such a joy to experiment with :-)

A Mandala for Phyllis Kay.

I created this mandala for the very ill Mother of a blog friend who I have grown close to at 'A Millions Mandala's for peace'. I know the wrench of having the closest person in your life swept up by illness and the effect it has. My Mother died on the 8th July 85 years old, this loss has affected me deeply, the last 10 month of her life going into decline and eventually ending with a major stroke. I pray that Melody's Mum gets a fighting chance to beat her illness.
